Paul Lynch specialises in the teaching of management and enterprise in the hospitality and tourism industries. His PhD involved a sociological examination of the lived guest experience in commercial home enterprises in Scotland entitled Conceptual Relationships between Hospitality and Space in the Homestay Sector. Research interests and publications focus upon critical and sociological perspectives on hospitality and tourism management and research interests include commercial home enterprises, business networks and networking, social firms and qualitative research methods. Professional memberships include being a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and as a member of the Institute of Learning and Teaching. Paul regularly undertakes consultancy and educational development projects internationally.
