Alisha Ali

Alisha is a Senior Lecturer in Hospitality Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), UK. She completed a Bachelors of Science in Tourism Management and a Masters in Management and her Ph.D, which concentrated on investigating the innovative uses and applications of ICT for sustainable tourism for destinations. She is also Course Leader for the MSc. in International Hospitality Design and Management Consultancy and the Deputy Ph.D Programme Leader for the Sheffield Business School. Alisha also is a member of SHU's Approval Panel.

She has extensive experience in the design and delivery of hospitality and tourism programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is actively involved in doctoral supervision and examinations.  Alisha has delivered guest lectures at Cesar Ritz Colleges, Switzerland, HAAGA -HELIA University of Applied Sciences, Thompson Rivers University and The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management. Her research focuses on sustainalbe tourism, eTourism, innovation, destination management and hospitality management. I am currently supervising 4 PhD students and 1 DBA and am happy to also be consulted for PhD examinations.
