Anne Conneally

Anne has worked as part of the Hospitality team at Sheffield Hallam University since 2008. She teaches Human Resource Management to undergraduate and postgraduate Hospitality Business Management students. as Snior Lecturer, she currently holds the post of Hospitality (BSc) Course Leader where she is responsible for the management of the student experience.

She has had an avid interest in both people management as well as the hospitality industry from an early age; working in small family run guesthouses in Ireland, Michelin star restaurants in Germany and worldwide international hotel group: Marriott International, Inc. in USA.

Following on from studying Hospitality Management at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and Dublin Institute of Technology, Anne completed her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations at National University Ireland, Galway. 

Her research interests focus on International Human Resource Management, specifically expatriation, socialisation and adaptation and employability within the service sector.

Anne is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a member of the Academy of International Business.
