Ioannis S. Pantelidis
Ioannis S. Pantelidis Ph.D., FIH is a Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ulster University and is the Head of the Department for Hospitality and Tourism Management, Ulster Business School. He holds a Ph.D. and an MSc from the University of Surrey and a Swiss hotel management diploma. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Tourism and Hospitality research (http://thr.sagepub.com) and Hospitality editor for JOHLSTE. He has served as a member of the executive of the Institute of Hospitality. He is passionate about hospitality education and applied research that helps the industry, as he comes from a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs. Prior to his academic career, he worked for Hotels and Restaurants in Europe and he still keeps one leg in the industry by providing consultancy services to tourism destinations, hoteliers, and restaurateurs. His Youtube Channel ThinkintheCircle often features videos that are of use to both (UG, PGT, and Research) students and professionals.
